The Colbert/O’Reilly crossover was a ratings hit for both hosts’ shows.
The Colbert Report set a ratings record for the Comedy Central show, hitting 1.641 million total viewers at 11:30 p.m. (1.1 million of which were among the key A18-49 crowd, 930,000 among adults 25-54).
That represents a marked improvement over the roughly 1M viewers who tune into the show on a a regular basis.
The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News also seen higher than average numbers, with 2.963 million total viewers tuning in (650,000 of which were in the A18-49 crowd and 750,000 among adults 25-54).
I love both gentlemen, but O’Reilly came off as having no sense of humor and afraid of something, agitated. Overall this was disappointing to me. Like seeing yer parents have sex, I think.
I believe a different word should be used for what you described; disturbing. ;)
