“TMZ” cleared for the fall of 2007 January 15, 2007 9:30 pm

The upcoming news magazine TMZ has been sold by Warner Bros. Domestic Telvision to the Fox owned and operated television station group.

Stations in markets such as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are slated to begin caryying the half-hour series beginning in the fall of 2007

“In today’s television landscape there is a big opportunity for a younger, more gender-balanced entertainment magazine with a distinct voice and point of view,” Ken Werner, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution president said Monday.

There will also be a one-hour weekend installment of the show which will be available for stations to air.
