ESPN has quietly canceled Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith.
The late-night series was introduced August 2005 and aired at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2, but after a half year of low ratings (the series averaged a dreadfully low 0.1 household rating) it was moved in January of last year to 11:00 p.m.
ESPN had hoped that Quite Frankly would improve the ratings in the timeslot (0.3 household rating), but it obviously was not a good move on their part.
Smith will still be with ESPN, contributing for the network in other roles.
