Dave Matthews to make his TV debut on Fox’s “House” January 8, 2007 6:07 pm

Dr. House is getting a new patient.

Grammy award winning artist Dave Matthews, of the Dave Matthews Band, will be making his TV-acting debut during a March episode of the hit Fox show House. Kurtwood Smith (who spent eight seasons as Red Foreman on That ’70’s Show) will be a part of the episode as well.From the Fox Press Release:

Matthews will play Patrick, a savant and virtuoso pianist who suffered a severe neurological impairment as the result of an accident when he was a child. Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show) will guest-star as a former physician and Patricks father, who must make a potentially life-altering decision about his sons treatment. The episode is directed by HOUSE executive producer Katie Jacobs and is tentatively scheduled to air in March.

House airs Tuesday nights at 9:00 PM on Fox.
