ABC has given four script orders to “Help Me Help You”, “The Nine” and “Men In Trees, while NBC has given a three script order to “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”.
Here is the status report on the season’s new shows:

- “Help Me Help You” – Four additional scripts ordered.
- averaging 10.49 million total viewers (#38)
- “The Nine” – Four additional scripts ordered.

- “Ugly Betty” – Given a full season order.

- “The Class” – no developments to report.

- “Smith” – canceled.
- only three episodes aired, averaged 10.06 million total viewers, but faded fast after a good start (#43)
- “Jericho” – given a full season order.

- “Shark” – given a full season order.

NBC
- “Heroes” – given a a full season order.
