TV Notes: Schedule Changes/Additions (“Medium”, “3 lbs.”) October 11, 2006 8:25 pm

“Medium” may be tapped to fill in for the time-period now vacated by “Kidnapped”, according to sources. From Broadcasting & Cable:
NBC is expected to bring back Medium to replace the relocated Kidnapped Wednesdays at 10.
While NBC isn’t commenting, sources with knowledge of the situation said the network is planning on bringing the veteran drama back onto the schedule in coming weeks, though it will continue to monitor Dateline in that slot.
CBS is also said to be mulling over a decision to put their new drama 3 lbs (starring Stanley Tucci and Mark Feuerstein) about surgeons in the time-period where “Smith” was airing; Tuesday’s at 10:00 PM.
Neither report has been confirmed from the networks involved.

I’m astonished that they pulled Medium off the schedule in the first place. It’s one of my favorite shows. And I’m not disappointed to see Smith go.
