HBO has renewed Real Time with Bill Maher for its 11th and 12th seasons, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO programming. Currently in its tenth season, The Talk show has been picked up through 2014 as part of Maher’s new three-year deal with the network. The complete press release is included after the jump. The ninth season will consist of an expanded 35 hour-long episodes slated to launch in early 2011: “Bill Maher is one of the most sought-after opinion makers on TV,” noted Nancy Geller, senior vice president, HBO Entertainment. “I’m delighted that this fearless and provocative observer will return to HBO next year.
