ABC and CBS have strong nights, as they tie among total households, but CBS comes atop among total viewers, while ABC takes the A18-49 crown. Grey’s Anatomy was the nights highest rated and most watched program.

Smallville and ‘Til Death also had solid nights (with Smallville’s numbers the more impressive of the two considering the network it’s on) passing the 5M mark, and Ugly Betty got a post-Golden Globe win bump.

CBS tied for first place among households with a 10.3/16 household rating, alone in first place among total viewers (16.19 million) and second among adults 18-49 (4.9/12 rating).
