USA Network sets launch date for new original series Common Law + Returns of White Collar and Royal Pains

USA Network today announces the January premiere dates for the new original series COMMON LAW on Thursday, January 26 at 10/9c and returning original favorites WHITE COLLAR on Tuesday, January 17 at 10/9c and ROYAL PAINS on Wednesday, January 18 at 10/9c.

USA Network renews Covert Affairs, Royal Pains and Necessary Roughness

After dominating the summer television landscape with a historic seven series on-air and capturing a sixth straight ratings win as cable’s top entertainment network, USA finalized its sweep of series pickups on all of its summer originals with 16-episode orders of season three of COVERT AFFAIRS, season four of Royal Pains and season two of Necessary Roughness. The renewals, which follow the season orders of WHITE COLLAR, Suits, IN PLAIN SIGHT and Burn Notice, were announced today by USA Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel.

USA Network renews White Collar for fourth season

After dominating the television landscape this summer with an impressive slate of top-rated and critically-acclaimed new and returning originals, USA Network today announced the season four pickup of 16 episodes of the hit original series White Collar. The series currently stars Matt Bomer (“In Time”), Tim DeKay (“Tell Me You Love Me”), Tiffani Thiessen (“What About Brian”), Willie Garson (“Sex and the City”), Sharif Atkins (“ER”), Marsha Thomason (“Lost”) and Hilarie Burton (“One Tree Hill”). The announcement, from USA Co-Presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber, marks the network’s third series renewal this summer following a fifth season order of In Plain Sight and a second season order of SUITS.

USA Network renews In Plain Sight for fifth and final season

After concluding its fourth season with season high ratings, IN PLAIN SIGHT, USA Network’s hit original scripted series starring Mary McCormack (“The West Wing”), will return for its fifth and final season in Spring 2012. The announcement was made today by USA Co-Presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber.

USA Network renews Suits for second season

Coming off its biggest summer ever dominating the television landscape with a record number of scripted originals and a firm hold on the #1 position in cable, USA Network today announced the season two pick up of the new hit original series SUITS with an order of 16 one-hour episodes. The series, which shoots in Toronto, stars Gabriel Macht (“Love and Other Drugs”), Patrick J. Adams (“Lost”), Rick Hoffman (“Samantha Who”), Gina Torres (“Firefly”), Sarah Rafferty (“Brothers & Sisters”) and Meghan Markle (“CSI Miami”). The announcement was made today by Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel, co-presidents, USA Network.

Suits series premiere averages 4.64M viewers; Burn Notice returns up 20%

The new USA series Suits had a very successful debut Thursday night, averaging 4.636M viewers and a 1.6 A18-49 rating. USA notes that was up 20% in viewers, 47% in A18-49’s (2.0M) and 34% in A25-54 (2.1M) from last fall’s series premiere of “Fairly Legal”.

USA Network renews Fairly Legal for second season

Heading into this year’s Upfront with a summer slate of nine original series, USA Network today announced the official season two order of the hit original series FAIRLY LEGAL. FAIRLY LEGAL was the top new series of the year among P25-54 and top new drama in P18-49, averaging 4.6 million total viewers. Production on 13 new episodes will begin late summer 2011 to air first quarter 2012. The announcement was made today by Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel, co-presidents, USA Network.

WWE Tough Enough premiere averages 3.33M viewers

USA Network to premiere WWE Tough Enough on Monday, April 4

USA Network unveils its new Monday night programming block with the premiere of WWE TOUGH ENOUGH, a non-scripted series in collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. and Shed Media US. Hosted by WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, WWE TOUGH ENOUGH premieres April 4, 2011, featuring a group of twelve individuals looking for an once-in-a-lifetime shot to become the next WWE Superstar or Diva. The grand-prize winner will be awarded a contract with WWE, joining its roster of talent.
