Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich announced today that the theatrical run of Toy Story / Toy Story 2 (3D) will be extended beyond its original end date. It was originally scheduled to run for two weeks, but impressive box office receipts of $22.77 million have given Disney an incentive to keep it around for at least a bit longer.
In terms of his upcoming movie, Toy Story 3, Unkrich revealed that Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords) will voice a new character in the film. He also announced that Blake Clark will take over as the voice of Slinky (Jim Varney passed away in 2000).
And lastly, head on over the jump to check out three more character posters from Toy Story 3 (these are in addition to the three I’ve already posted on the site: here and here).
