NBC has released their fall 2012/2013 schedule. The schedule includes seven new shows:
Revolution (Monday, 10PM), Go On (Tuesday 9PM), The New Normal (Tuesday, 9:30PM), Animal Practice (Wednesday, 8PM), Guys With Kids (Wednesday, 8:30PM), Chicago Fire (Wednesday, 10PM), Do No Harm (Sunday, 10PM).
In related news, NBC confirmed cancellations for a canceled a whole slew of reality series: Escape Routes, Fear Factor, The Sing-Off, Minute to Win It, The Marriage Ref, Who’s Still Standing?, It’s Worth What? and Who Do You Think You Are?.

Super Bowl XLVI is the most-watched television program in U.S. history and the highest-rated Super Bowl in 26 years, according to fast national data released today by The Nielsen Company.
The game, in which the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots, 21-17, was seen by a record 111.3 million viewers (6:31-9:58 p.m. ET), topping last year’s 111.0 for Super Bowl XLV on Fox and is the biggest audience to watch a television program in U.S. history.
NBC’s Super Bowl lead-out The Voice averaged 37.6M viewers and a 16.3 A18-49 rating, making it the highest-rated entertainment program in 18-49 in six years–since ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy post-Super Bowl telecast on February 5, 2006.

NBC […] announced its new mid-season 2012 schedule which features the premieres of four new series in “Smash” (February 6), “The Firm” (two-hour premiere January 8, time slot premiere January 12), “Fashion Star” (March 13) and “Are You There, Chelsea?” (January 11). The new lineup also includes the return of “The Voice,” “30 Rock,” “The Celebrity Apprentice” and “Who Do You Think You Are?”
In addition, there are day and time period changes for “Whitney,” “Up All Night,” “Rock Center with Brian Williams” and “Harry’s Law.”

All four musician coaches of NBC’s “The Voice” – Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton – will return next season when the vocal competition series resumes in mid-season on Mondays (8-10 p.m. ET). The announcement was made by Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

NBC’s “The Voice” crowned Javier Colon as the first winner of the popular vocal competition series in tonight’s (Wednesday, June 29) live results show and season finale, earning Colon the grand prize of a recording contract and $100,000.

NBC announced that it has added an extra results show to its hit “The Voice” (Tuesdays, 9-11 p.m. ET) on Wednesday, June 22 (8-9 p.m. ET) and has scheduled the series’ season finale for Wednesday, June 29 (8-9 p.m. ET). Both episodes will air live.

NBC will broadcast a special hour-long episode of “The Voice” following the network’s exclusive coverage of Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, February 5 (10-11 p.m. ET; time approximate). The announcements were made today by Bob Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.
