Warner Brothers has begun airing TV spots for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. Check out the first two after the jump.
The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit conventional and IMAX theaters on July 20, 2012.

And then there was one. With Wednesday’s $6.909 million domestic gross ($33M overall worldwide), Avatar has reached $374.446 million domestically and $757.307 million overseas. That pushes the film to $1.132 billion worldwide which is now 2nd best all-time (passing ‘Return of the King”s $1.119 billion).
In the history of the box office, only Titanic ($1.843 billion) has grossed more (unadjusted for inflation). Head on over the jump to see how much closer Avatar has gotten to surpassing The Dark Knight for 2nd best domestically.

Warner Bros. has announced that after a re-release late last month, The Dark Knight has finally crossed $1 billion in worldwide gross. The studio made the announcement last Thursday, but did not reveal which day the movie reached the mark.
