First Look: Liam Neeson in Taken 2

Entertainment Weekly has a feature up on Taken 2, click here to read their interview with Liam Neeson, and it includes three photos from the film. Click over the jump to see two more photos. Released in 2009, Taken grossed nearly $227M worldwide ($145.0M domestic / $81.8M foreign) on a budget of just $25M.

Directed by Olivier Megaton, Taken 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on October 5, 2012.

Taken 2 will shoot in October

ComingSoon.net confirmed with writer/producer Luc Besson that Taken 2 will begin shooting this October:

20th Century Fox to distribute Taken 2

20th Century Fox will distribute EuropaCorp’s Taken 2 in North America and most overseas territories (with the exceptions of France, Germany, parts of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Benelux).

Both director Luc Besson and star Liam Neeson are returning for the sequel.
