Teaser artwork promoting The Expendables 2 at Cannes has been revealed online. Click over the jump to check it out in full. Additionally, he synopsis for the film has been released, however it reveals the fate of a character so if you want to see it and don’t mind getting spoiled this far out from its release, click over the jump.

Sylvester Stallone confirms: He’s not directing The Expendables sequel

Sylvester Stallone to star in Headshot

Sylvester Stallone has been cast in Wayne Kramer’s (“The Cooler”) action film Headshot. Stallone will star as a New Orleans hitman in the film, who teams up with a New York City cop. The film’s script was written by Alessandro Camon (“The Messenger”). Shooting begins in May in Louisiana and New York.

New 60-second TV spot for The Expendables

Lionsgate has released a new 60-second TV spot for The Expendables from director/writer/star Sylvester Stallone. Click over the jump to check it out.

The Expendables co-stars Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture and Terry Crews with cameos by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. The film hits theaters on August 13, 2010.

Sylvester Stallone says there won’t be another Rambo

Although in the past Sylvester Stallone has indicated he would like to see another Rambo movie, Stallone now tells Empire that he’s “99% sure” there won’t be another movie in the franchise:

“I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99% sure.”

Stallone took the character out for a spin two years ago with Rambo, which went on to gross a solid $113.2M worldwide so it’s clear there’s still an appetite in the public for the character. But alas, Stallone says he’s happy where the franchise ended:

The Expendables movie trailer

Lionsgate has released a trailer for The Expendables, featuring an all-star cast including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts and Mickey Rourke. I really liked the trailer, but I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see that cameos by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis were included in the trailer. Check it out after the jump.
