Nikki Finke has confirmed IESB’s scoop that there are issues with the Spider-Man 4 script and the film officially has no start date. Gary Ross will be reuniting with his Seabiscuit star Tobey Maguire. The screenwriter has been tapped by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios to rewrite the Sam Raimi-directed sequel Spider-Man 4.
The script was originally written by James Vanderbilt, and then rewritten by David Lindsay-Abaire.
