TNT Renews Men of a Certain Age for a Second Season

TNT has renewed its critically acclaimed freshman drama Men of a Certain Age for a second season.  The series stars Ray Romano, Andrew Braugher and Scott Bakula.

“MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE has been embraced by viewers and critics alike, making our decision to renew an easy one,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE blends insightful storylines, highly relatable characters and top-notch performances from Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. We look forward to continuing our wonderful relationship with everyone involved.”

Scott Bakula Heading Back to Chuck

Scott Bakula (Men of a Certain Age) has signed on to reprise his role as Chuck Bartowski’s (Zachary Levi) father, Steve.  Bakula will back back for multiple episodes at the end of the third season.  Executive producer Josh Schwartz calls Bakula’s upcoming arc “the biggest thing we’ve ever done on the show.”

The Informant! Movie Trailer

informant-070109Warner Bros. has released the trailer for director Steven Soderbergh’s (Oceans Eleven, ‘Twelve’ and ‘Thirteen’) dark comedy The Informant!. The film is based on the 2000 book from former New York Times journalist Kurt Eichenwald, and explores the true story of Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon), who in the early 1990’s blew the whistle on Archer Daniels Midland’s involvment  in lysine price-fixing. (here’s the Wikipedia page on the 2000 book).

Scott Bakula,  Joel McHale, Melanie Lynskey and Tony Hale co-star.  As expected, it looks great!  Check out the trailer after the jump.
