Variety reports that Kevin Bacon is in final negotations to play the villain in Universal’s R.I.P.D., an adaptation of the comicbook series by Peter Lenkov from director Robert Schwentke. Ryan Reynolds stars with Jeff Bridges co-starring. R.I.P.D. is scheduled to hit theaters on June 28, 2013. It’s confirmed: Jeff Bridges will star alongside Ryan Reynolds in Universal’s R.I.P.D..
