The world’s leading pop culture convention is set to begin in just over a month, and Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) will be back with a Bang at Comic-Con International: San Diego in 2012. With a star-studded lineup of performers and producers from Warner Bros. Television and Warner Bros. Animation series and the Studio’s massive, must-visit booth on the convention floor, WBTVG will once again deliver an unforgettable experience for fans, with a packed schedule of screenings, panel sessions, autograph signings and media appearances.

In a move that renews a large portion of television’s #1 primetime lineup, CBS announced today it has picked up 18 returning series for the 2012-2013 broadcast season.
The renewals include four comedies, nine dramas, three reality series and two newsmagazines. The returning shows encompass every night of the week and every hour, many of which are #1 in their time period and some #1 on the entire night.

Starting on the first day of Comic-Con 2011 on Friday, July 22, Warner Brothers TV will be showcasing 16 of their shows at the event. TV show panels include: Fringe, ThunderCats, Chuck, The Vampire Diaries, Alcatraz and Person of Interest. Full details after the jump.

CBS has made two series pickups, one comedy and one drama.
The network has picked up the J.J. Abrams-produced pilot Person of Interest (which was written by Jonah Nolan and stars Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson) as well as the comedy Two Broke Girls which stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
