NBC has released their fall 2012/2013 schedule. The schedule includes seven new shows:
Revolution (Monday, 10PM), Go On (Tuesday 9PM), The New Normal (Tuesday, 9:30PM), Animal Practice (Wednesday, 8PM), Guys With Kids (Wednesday, 8:30PM), Chicago Fire (Wednesday, 10PM), Do No Harm (Sunday, 10PM).
In related news, NBC confirmed cancellations for a canceled a whole slew of reality series: Escape Routes, Fear Factor, The Sing-Off, Minute to Win It, The Marriage Ref, Who’s Still Standing?, It’s Worth What? and Who Do You Think You Are?.

NBC has renewed Thursday night comedy 30 Rock for a seventh and final season. The final season order is for 13 episodes.

NBC has ordered two additional episodes of the NBC dramedy Parenthood. The additional episodes brings the show’s season three order from 16 episodes to 18 episodes.

NBC announced today the premieres of its new Fall 2011 primetime schedule beginning Tuesday, September 13 with new episodes of “Parenthood” — following the final performance episode of “America’s Got Talent” — and continuing the week of September 19 with the Monday debuts of “The Sing-Off” and new drama “The Playboy Club” on that date

NBC has reportedly renewed Parenthood and Harry’s Law. Renewals were mostly expected for both shows. It’s good news for David E. Kelley, whose Wonder Woman, at the moment at least, is expected to be passed over by NBC.

There are various reports on the Internet that NBC will renew Chuck for a fifth season. The low-rated, but adored, spy-fi series has struggled in the ratings this season, but with NBC’s low standing, a pick up wouldn’t be too surprising.

NBC won’t be shifting Parenthood to Monday afterall, deciding to keep the drama on Tuesday at 10PM. The network also announced that Law & Order: Los Angeles, which is in the process of a cast makeover, will not return on February 8 as previously scheduled and will instead return “on a day to be determined”.
Other announcements from the network include shifting the debut of America’s Next Great Restaurant to Sunday, March 6 (8-9PM) instead of the previously scheduled Wednesday, March 16 (9-10PM) as well as delaying the return of The Marriage Ref which was scheduled to debut its second season on Sunday, March 6 (8-9PM). NBC will announce its premiere on a later date.

NBC has picked up its mid-season drama Parenthood for a second season, to premiere during the 2010/2011 season.
“We are so happy to welcome back this multi-layered and compelling series about an extended American family for another season,” said Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios. “It’s gratifying that ‘Parenthood’ continues to garner critical acclaim and is generating highly positive reaction from viewers, thanks to the fearless creativity of its producers and the extraordinary performances delivered by its ensemble cast.”

With The Jay Leno Show now officially canceled, so too ends NBC’s 10PM experiment. The network is moving back to their regular 8-11PM Monday-Friday schedule. Here are the changes/additions (effective March 1, 2010):
- Monday: Law & Order is moving into the 10:00 p.m. timeslot following its previous move to Friday’s at 8:00.
- Tuesday: Parenthood will premiere on Tuesday, March 2nd at air Tuesday’s at 10:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: An encore episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will air Wednesday’s at 10:00 p.m.
- Thursday: Jerry Seinfeld’s new reality series The Marriage Ref will premiere Thursday, March 4th and air Thursday’s at 10:00 p.m. (although it will have a special sneak preview on Sunday, February 28th).
- Friday: Dateline NBC will expand to two hours on Friday’s (9:00-11:00) starting March 5th.
Additionally, NBC has set a Friday, April 30th premiere date for the fourth season of Friday Night Lights (which has been airing on DirecTV’s 101). The show will air Friday’s at 8:00 p.m.

NBC has announced a new mid-season schedule which will take into effect following the conclusion of the Winter Olympics. Plus The Biggest Loser premieres its new season on Tuesday, January 5th (8:00-10:00 p.m. ) while the fourth season finale of Heroes is set for Monday February 8th. Some highlights:
- Parenthood debuts on Monday, March 1st (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
- The Marriage Ref debuts on Sunday, March 14th (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
- The Celebrity Apprentice premieres on Sunday, March 14th (9:00-11:00 p.m.)
