Disney has announced a date for the return of Captain EO to Disneyland. The 3D musical adventure, starring the late Michael Jackson, will be returning to Tomorrowland theater on Tuesday, February 23rd, according to the Disney Parks blog:

Disney has confirmed that Captain EO, the 1986 17-minute 3D musical starring Michael Jackson, will return to Disneyland park beginning in 2010.
The musical, written by George Lucas and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, previously ran at the park from 1986-1997. To make room for the run, Honey I Shrunk The Audience will be closing sometime [...]

Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that Michael Jackson’s This Is It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 26, 2010. Check out the full press release after the jump.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has announcd that Michael Jackson THIS IS IT, a theater release based around footage from the late singer/entertainer’s rehearsal and other content from Michael’s practice sessions, will be released in theaters beginning on Wednesday, October 28th.
The release was originally scheduled to debut on October 30th (see related article).
