New photos: Thor and Machete

The LA Times’ Hero Complex blog has posted a new photo from Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. It’s our first look at Odin’s (Anthony Hopkins) throne room in the city of Asgard and features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) kneeling before his father.

A new photo for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete also surfaced today. The photo features Lindsay Lohan. Check it out after the jump.

Thor is scheduled to hit conventional and 3D theaters on May 6, 2011. Machete hits theaters on September 3, 2010.

Machete gets September 3 release date

Deadline is reporting that 20th Century Fox has set a Labor Day Weekend September 3, 2010 release date for the Robert Rodriguez written and co-directed Machete.

The film stars Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Lindsay Lohan.
