Lifetime renews Client List for a second season

Lifetime has renewed its hit scripted series The Client List, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Love Hewitt, for a second season to premiere next year with 15 all-new episodes, it was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks.

Regarding the announcement, Dubuc said, “The Client List represents everything we want to be — fresh, exciting and original with attitude. We love Jennifer and this series, and are equally thrilled that they have connected with our audience, especially as we express our new brand, ‘Your Life. Your Time.’”

Hewitt added, “I couldn’t be happier about Lifetime’s decision to renew The Client List for a second season. It has been so much fun working with such a great cast and crew on the wonderful stories we tell, and I’m ready to see where The Client List takes all of us next year.”

Lifetime orders 20 additional episodes of America’s Most Wanted

Lifetime has ordered 20 additional episodes of John Walsh’s venerable crime-fighting series America’s Most Wanted, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, Programming, of Lifetime Networks. The program airs weekly on Lifetime on Fridays at 9:00pm ET/PT.

Lifetime’s Army Wives to premiere sixth season with two-hour premiere event on Sunday, March 4

Army Wives, Lifetime’s most successful series in the network’s history, premieres its sixth season with a two-hour premiere event of back-to-back all-new episodes on Sunday, March 4 at 9pm ET/PT. Coming Home, Lifetime’s award-winning docu-series featuring U.S. armed forces service members’ surprise family reunions, will return with new episodes, beginning Sunday, March 11 at 10pm ET/PT, immediately following Army Wives.

Lifetime’s Drew Peterson: Untouchable averages 5.8M total viewers

In its world premiere Saturday night, the Lifetime Original Movie Drew Peterson: Untouchable, starring Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award nominee Rob Lowe and Kaley Cuoco, generated record viewership, averaging 5.8 million Total Viewers, making it cable’s most watched original movie in the demo in two years since Lifetime’s The Pregnancy Pact on January 23, 2010. Additionally, the 5.8 million Total Viewers represent a 241% jump versus Lifetime’s original movie premiere average in 2011.

Lifetime orders 10 additional episodes of Army wives

Lifetime picks up America’s Most Wanted for 25th season

Lifetime has picked up John Walsh’s pioneering series America’s Most Wanted, television’s top crime-fighting show that will return for its 25th season later this year. The announcement was made today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks.

“I’ve always believed there was something very special about America’s Most Wanted and that there should be a home for it on television, and I couldn’t be happier to now be able bring it back on Lifetime,” said Walsh. “We’ve often been called the court of last resort…now we are back in the game and ready to saddle up for another season to get justice for victims and put dangerous criminals behind bars.”

Lifetime renews Army Wives for sixth season + Announces 2011-12 programming slate

As part of an aggressive expansion to grow its original programming stable, Lifetime today unveiled its 2011-12 programming slate featuring a powerful line-up of two all-new scripted dramas, doubling Lifetime’s number of scripted series from two to four; pick-ups of 11 unscripted programs representing more than triple the amount of reality hours on the network, including Project Runway All Stars and Project Accessory, the interview series The Conversation from executive producers Demi Moore and Amanda de Cadenet; and the weight loss/relationship program Love Handles from producer SallyAnn Salsano; as well as plans for 24 new original movies across Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network. Movies slated include, to name a few, Nora Roberts’ Carnal Innocence, Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story, two action films from producer Gale Anne Hurd, a biopic of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and Project Five, directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Keys and Patty Jenkins.

In addition, Lifetime has renewed its hit drama series Army Wives for a sixth season with a 13 episode order and ordered the drama pilot Modern Love from writer/executive producer Jenny Bicks.
