Universal Pictures has released a new movie trailer for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens. Watch the trailer after the jump.

Universal has released a new TV spot for director Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens. The film’s script was written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof. This TV spot will air during Super Bowl XLV, but has hit the web early. Click over the jump to watch it.

Universal has released a teaser poster for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens. The film stars Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Harrison Ford and Sam Rockwell. Check out the poster in full and in high resolution after the jump. Also, check back on Wednesday when the studio releases the teaser trailer.

In an interview with MTV, Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau revealed that he wants The Mandarin in the third film, but he highlights how there could be some problems using the character:
“You have to do The Mandarin,” he said. “The problem with The Mandarin is, the way it’s depicted in the comic books, you don’t want to see that. He also has 10 magical rings, and it just doesn’t feel right for our thing, so it’s either tech-based or the rings are not really rings.”
Favreau also notes that nothing is set in stone until he sees what happens with all the other Marvel Entertainment films coming out before ‘IM3’:
