Teaser trailer for Mr. Popper’s Penguins

Fox has released a teaser trailer for the family comedy Mr. Popper’s Penguins. The comedy stars Jim Carrey in an adaptation of Richard Atwater’s Newbery Award-winning children’s book which tells the story of:

“…a poor house painter named Mr. Popper and his family, who live in the small town of Stillwater in the 1930s. The Poppers unexpectedly come into possession of a penguin then got a penguin from the zoo who mates with the first penguin to have 10 baby penguins and something must be done before they eat the Poppers out of house and home.”

Mr. Popper’s Penguins is scheduled to hit theaters on June 17, 2011.

I Love You Phillip Morris release pushed to July 30

The Jim Carrey / Ewan McGregor-starrer I Love You Phillip Morris has been pushed back from April 30 to July 30. Consolidated Pictures Group is distributing the film which will open in a limited run and begin expanding the following week on August 6th.
