HBO has given its Sunday night series Hung a renewal for a third season. The show will be picked up for 10 episodes.

Ratings this season have been consistent and solid for the network, drawing an average 1.5/2 HH rating/share, 2.473 million viewers and a 1.3/4 A18-49 rating in live + SD numbers.

HBO Renews Entourage, Hung and True Blood

entouragehungtrueblood-080309HBO has renewed three of its summer programs, including the award-winning drama True Blood (returning for a third season), freshman comedy Hung (returning for a second) and veteran drama/comedy Entourage (returning for a seventh season).

While all three shows have performed well this season, True Blood has done exceedingly so.  The show has averaged an impressive 3.8 million viewers this season and notched a series-high 4 million viewers last week (the best original episode numbers for an HBO series since The Sopranos was on the air) .
