Deadline is reporting that AMC has closed a deal with Glen Mazzara to come on board as a writing executive producer for the second season of the hit drama The Walking Dead. Mazzara is expected to put together a staff of about five writers. Columbia Pictures has hired writers Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara to write a sequel to the Will Smith superhero movie Hancock.
