The low-rated freshman drama Charlie’s Angels has been canceled by ABC. Deadline reports that production has been shut down on the show, with Sony TV reportedly producing a total of eight episodes. Four have aired thus far and the remaining four episodes — of the 13-episode initial order — are expected to air.

ABC’s remake of Charlie’s Angels will no longer feature the voice of Robert Wagner as Charlie, with TV Guide reporting that Wagner dropped out of the project.

ABC has picked up 12 shows for next season, including the Charlie’s Angels remake and the Tim Allen comedy Last Man Standing.
The other pickups are for comedies Apt. 23, Man Up , Work It and Suburgatory and dramas Christian Belles (formerly Bitches), Good, Once Upon A Time, Pan Am, Revenge, The River and Scandal.
