President Obama’s speech on death of Osama bin Laden watched by more than 56 million viewers in U.S.

President Obama’s late-night speech to the nation announcing the death of terrorist Osama bin Laden was watched by 56.7M viewers across 11 networks, Nielsen reports.

It is now President Obama’s most-watched speech of his presidency to date.

The 9-minute announcement was shown on ABC, CBS, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, CNN, Centric, CNBC, FNC, HLN and MSNBC.

2010 Soul Train Awards draws 3.9M viewers

The premiere of the 2010 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS on BET and CENTRIC on Sunday, November 28, at 9:00 P.M.* drew 3.9 Million total viewers garnering a 3.18 coverage rating among 2.7 million households according to The Nielsen Company. Hosted by Oscar-nominated actors Terrence Howardand Taraji P. Henson, the 2010 SOULTRAIN AWARDS is the #1 Q410 BET telecast (among households and viewers), the #1 4Q10 cable special among women and the #1 telecast on CENTRIC for calendar year 2010.
