Lifetime orders 20 additional episodes of America’s Most Wanted

Lifetime has ordered 20 additional episodes of John Walsh’s venerable crime-fighting series America’s Most Wanted, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, Programming, of Lifetime Networks. The program airs weekly on Lifetime on Fridays at 9:00pm ET/PT.

America’s Most Wanted debuts on Lifetime on December 2, 2011

Criminals can run. But they can no longer hide as John Walsh’s pioneering series, America’s Most Wanted, television’s top crime-fighting show, will return with all-new episodes for its 25th season on Friday, December 2, at 9:00pm ET/PT on Lifetime. Once again Walsh will, as he’s successfully done for 24 remarkable years, put all criminals on notice throughout America’s Most Wanted’s Silver Anniversary, during which the series will continue to leverage the power of television to inform viewers of some of the world’s notorious crimes and bring their alleged perpetrators to justice.

FOX announces first America’s Most Wanted Special; Airing Saturday October 29

Emmy Award-Winner John Walsh returns to FOX to host a special two-hour edition of AMERICA’S Most Wanted: 50 FUGITIVES 50 STATES, featuring a nationwide round-up of the country’s worst criminals, airing Saturday, Oct. 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Lifetime picks up America’s Most Wanted for 25th season

Lifetime has picked up John Walsh’s pioneering series America’s Most Wanted, television’s top crime-fighting show that will return for its 25th season later this year. The announcement was made today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks.

“I’ve always believed there was something very special about America’s Most Wanted and that there should be a home for it on television, and I couldn’t be happier to now be able bring it back on Lifetime,” said Walsh. “We’ve often been called the court of last resort…now we are back in the game and ready to saddle up for another season to get justice for victims and put dangerous criminals behind bars.”

FOX announces fall premiere dates

FOX has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series. The 2011-2012 season will kick off with the biggest night in television, the 63RD PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, airing live in all time zones on Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM ET / 5:00-8:00 PM PT) on FOX.
