A&E sets June 5 premiere for season two of The Glades

Season two of the hit A&E original scripted drama series “The Glades,” starring Matt Passmore, Kiele Sanchez, Carlos Gomez and Michelle Hurd premieres Sunday, June 5 at 10PM ET/PT. The second season will feature thirteen one-hour episodes.

A&E renews The Glades for second season

A&E Network has picked up a second season of the acclaimed drama series, “The Glades” starring Matt Passmore, it was announced today by Bob DeBitetto, President and General Manager of A&E Network and BIO Channel.

Season-to-date, “The Glades” is averaging 3.2 million total viewers per premiere episode with 1.3 million adults 25-54 and 1.1 million adults 18-49. Not only has the series become A&E’s number one program among total viewers since premiering in July, but “The Glades” has propelled A&E to ad-supported cable’s number one network on Sunday nights among total viewers.

Season one average (through nine episodes thus far): 2.0/4 HH rating/share, 3.18 million viewers and a 0.8/2 A18-49 rating/share (1.1 million).

A&E Greenlights David Hasselhoff Real-Life Docu-Series The Hoff

A&E has ordered a new real-life documentary series called The Hoff, based around the actor David Hasselhoff. According to A&E, the show will bring viewers behind the scenes with Hasselhoff “as a single dad raising two teenage daughters who aspire to be singers”.

Steven Seagal’s Lawman Premiere Draws Record Audience for A&E

Steven Seagal Lawman drew an average 3.5 million viewers for its back-to-back episode premiere Wednesday night (3.4 million at 10:00 p.m. and 3.6 million at 10:30 p.m.) and 2 million viewers within the Adults 18-49 demographic.  The show is the most-watched original series launch in A&E’s history in all key demos.  Head on over the jump for the press release.

A&E’s New Series Hoarders Records Best A18-49 Premiere Performance in Network History

a&elogo-081909A&E’s new series Hoarders debuted Monday night as the most-watched series premiere in network history among Adults 18-49 and tied for the most ever in Adults 25-54.  The premiere was watched by 2.5 million viewers (1.8 million Adults 18-49).

Hoarders airs Monday’s at 10:00 p.m. on A&E.
