Universal Pictures has released a new trailer, courtesy Yahoo! Movies, of Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood. Head on over the jump to watch the trailer.
Starring Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt and Mark Strong, Robin Hood is scheduled to hit theaters on May 14, 2010.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed Vulture’s report about Angelina Jolie not reprising her role in Wanted 2, but the site adds that Vulture was not right when they reported that Jolie opted to do Alfonso Cuarón’s space thriller Gravity instead:

NY Mag’s Vulture blog is reporting that Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga: New Moon) has chosen to make Hasbro’s Stretch Armstrong for Universal Pictures over Paramount Picture’s Max Steel (based on the Mattell toy). NY Mag’s Vulture blog is reporting that Angelina Jolie has turned down the chance to reprise her role in Wanted 2 and rather than recast the lead, Universal has decided to pull the plug on the Timur Bekmambetov-directed sequel:

Vin Diesel is returning to star and produce a third chapter in The Chronicles of Riddick franchise. The new film, titled Riddick, will be distributed domestically by Universal Pictures and international rights will be handled by Lionsgate [Variety]:

Universal Studios is moving forward with a fifth installment in the successful franchise Fast and Furious. The next installment, currently called Fast Five, will reunite stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker and director Justin Lin and producer Neal Moritz will all return for the film.
