Fangoria has received confirmation from Univeral Pictures that The Wolfman has been moved out of its original release date (April 3, 2009) to November 6, 2009. The site had originally reported that the film was on the move a little under three weeks ago.

AICN is reporting that Danny Elfman will be scoring Universal Pictures remake of The Wolfman. Elfman’s latest film work includes 2007’s Meet the Robinson’s, Spider-Man 3 and The Simpsons Movie.

Walt Disney Pictures has launched the official teaser page for Race to Witch Mountain (March 13, 2009) which includes the movie’s logo (as seen above–click to enlarge). Additionally, the teaser pages for Friday the 13th (here) and The Wolfman (here) are also online.

After an exit from original director Mark Romanek from the Universal project The Wolfman, Universal has settled on Joe Johnston to direct the film.
