Stephen Chow is no longer attached to direct Columbia Pictures’ big-screen adaptation of The Green Hornet. Variety is reporting that Chow stepped aside due to “creative differences”. MTV recently got in touch with Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) and asked the actor about his planned adaptation of The Green Hornet. Among topics discussed in the interview include the reveal that there exists two outlines of the film: “there’s a more comedic version and less comedic version”.

Variety is reporting an interesting bit of casting news on Columbia’s The Green Hornet. The studio has tapped Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) to write and produce and likely star in the action film, which dates back to the 1930s, where it began its life as a radio serial (1936-1952).
