Following the footsteps of NBC’s announcement of the return of their late-night lineup, ABC has announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live is returning with original episodes on Wednesday, January 2.
According to multiple sources close to Broadcasting & Cable, Jimmy Fallon (Saturday Night Live) may return to NBC to serve as the replacement for Conan O’Brien when he moves on to Jay Leno in 2009.
According to Broadcasting & Cable, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel are close to signing a multi-year extension which will keep Kimmel with the network (and the network in the late-night market) past the 2009 season. |
