Jericho fans, it’s happening again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has dropped the cancellation bomb on Jericho once again. Producers on the show have been told that the show is ending its broadcast run. The season finale will air on Tuesday, with an ending that helps give fans closure. [...]
CBS has opted not to offer Pamela Reed a contract, though the actress is scheduled to appear in at least one of the already produced episodes. Should Jericho survive past the initial seven-episode abbreviated second season, it may do so without Reed’s character (Mrs. Gail Green).
With the show having been uncanceled, the first phase of increasing audience begins this Summer. CBS has announced that they will be running repeats of the first season on Friday nights.
