IMAX Corporation has announced that Disney’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will hit IMAX theaters internationally on May 28, 2010, simultaneously with its conventional theater release. Warner Brothers and IMAX Corporation today announced that three-time Academy-Award nominee Leonardo DiCaprio will narrate Hubble 3D. The film is the fourth co-production between WB and IMAX and comes from producer/director Tony Myers (Space Station 3D).

J.J. Abrams’ hit blockbuster Star Trek will be re-released in 85 IMAX theaters beginning this Friday, September 4th. The film will have a limited two-week run in the large-screen format, cutting out once again just in time for the release of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Apparently when Warner Bros. pushed back the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince into July, they didn’t take into account an exclusivity agreement Paramount had with IMAX which gave the studio’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen a four-week run.

IMAX has released the official trailer for Star Trek in IMAX. Watch it, plus check out a full list of all the IMAX theaters that will be running the film, after the jump.
