Clooney May Make Appearance on Final Season of E.R.

In an interview with TV Guide, ex-E.R. star Noah Wyle–who’ll make several appearances this season–said that he believes Clooney will “absolutely” appear in the show in an episode, so long as his schedule is open.

Clooney Shoots Down “E.R.” Rumor

There were rumors of George Clooney returning one more time for E.R. next season (planned to be the show’s last), but Clooney told Extra that he has no plans to return to the NBC drama: “The truth of the matter is they wouldn’t ask, and there really would be no reason for it.”
