A couple release date changes/additions to catch up on including Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (delayed), Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D (set for December 2011), Buried (set for this September) 21 Jump Street (delayed) and Smurfs (pushed back five days into August 2011). Sony Pictures has released a second movie trailer for the upcoming remake The Karate Kid which stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. Head on over the jump to watch the new trailer. The Karate Kid hits theaters on June 11, 2010.

Columbia Pictures has hired British writer Steven Knight to adapt the screenplay for The Lost Symbol, the third film in the Da Vinci Code franchise. Knight’s recent work includes writing the screenplays for the upcoming films Shutter Island and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
