According to a tweet from Variety staffer Justin Kroll, Kevin Costner has passed on Quentin Tarantino’s Western Django Unchained due to scheduling conflicts:
“And in another interesting piece of casting news, Kevin Costner has had to pass on DJANGO UNCHAINED due to scheduling conflicts.”
Django Unchained is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2012.
