Comic-Con 2011: The Avengers posters for Thor, Hulk and Nick Fury

From left to right: Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye/Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders).

Marvel has released three more concept art character posters for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers. The latest character posters feature Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). The Nick Fury poster also features the characters Maria Hill (Cobie Smoulders) and Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) in the background.

The studio also released a composite poster combining these three posters with the previously released four which you can enlarge above. Click over the jump to see the posters in full.

The Avengers is scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2012. The teaser trailer is expected to be released soon, but you can watch it in theaters now after the end credits of “Captain America: The First Avenger”.

    Whoa… Those posters look amazing. I really can’t wait for
    this movie to premiere! The posters truly speak for themselves. Inspired by
    this, I recently just got a poster design made at http://www.logodesigncreation.com
    and it turned out great. For the price I paid it was indeed a steal! My poster
    design was not as cool as these posters but it is still as exciting. This movie
    is probably the most anticipated superhero movie to date.
