Lionsgate picks up Joss Whedon’s The Cabin in the Woods and sets April 2012 release date

Lionsgate has taken over the MGM project The Cabin in the Woods, directed and co-written by Joss Whedon, and set the 3D post-converted film for release on April 13, 2012. The film, which began production more than 3 years ago, stars Chris Hemsworth.
