New Photo: Two more dwarves from The Hobbit

Courtesy Yahoo! Movies, here’s another photo from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Yesterday we got our first look at the brother dwarves Dori, Nori and Ori, now we get our first look at the dwarves Oin (played by John Callen) and Gloin (Peter Hableton), who is the father of Gimli from “The Lord of the Rings”. Click the image to expand and enlarge. Here’s a description of the characters [via Yahoo!]:

Distant cousins of Thorin Oakenshield, these two doughty Northern Dwarves join the Company out of a sense of loyalty to their kin, and also because they have a substantial sum of money invested in the venture. Along with Bombur, Gloin is the only other married Dwarf in the Company (there being a shortage of female dwarves in general). His wife is an acclaimed beauty with a particularly fine beard. Gloin is the proud father of a young son, Gimli, who will go on to become part of the famous Fellowship of the Ring.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is scheduled to hit theaters on December 14, 2012. The Hobbit: There and Back Again will be released on December 13, 2013. Both films will be released in 3D.
