Julia Ormond is in talks to play Superman’s Kryptonian mother, Lara Lor-Van in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot Man of Steel.
Russell Crowe was recently cast as Superman’s (Henry Cavill) father Jor-El. The film also stars Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent).
Man of Steel is scheduled to hit theaters in December 2012.
