Ray Winstone joins Snow White and the Huntsman

Casting of the seven dwarfs in Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Huntsman is now complete. Heat Vision | THR reports that Ray Winstone is in negotiations to play a warrior dwarf in the Rupert Sanders-directed project. Winstone joins previous dwarf casting over the past week and before including Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan and Stephen Graham. Here are more details on the dwarfs courtesy Heat Vision:

In the script, the dwarfs are named after Roman emperors with McShane playing the group’s leader, Caesar, Jones as a timid dwarf named Claudius and Izzard playing Tiberius, described as the biggest and burliest of the crew. Hoskins will play Constantine, a blind dwarf, Graham an angry-looking dwarf named Nero.

Winstone is playing Trajan, the twin brother of Hadrian (Marsan).

Snow White and the Huntsman stars Kristen Stewart (Snow White), Charlize Theron (evil stepmother) and Chris Hemsworth (Prince). The film begins shooting this summer in Europe for a June 1, 2012 release date.
