Deadline reports that NBC has closed the deal for a 22-episode straight-to-series pickup for a TV series based on John Grisham’s best-sellerĀ The Firm. The show could launch this September, but it’s not clear at the moment whether NBC will announce it being on the fall schedule during upfronts.
The project picks up 10 years after the events of the 1993 film. It will also be broadcast in more than 125 territories internationally via Sony’s AXN networks.
