The sequel to Stephen Sommers’ 2009 film ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ has picked up a title as it heads toward a August 1 start to shooting.
NOLA is reporting that the film wil be called G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes. The four-month shoot will take place in New Orleans with director John Chu hoping to shoot in 3D.
G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes is scheduled to hit theaters on August 12, 2012.
