Armie Hammer in talks to star as The Lone Ranger

Deadline is reporting that Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) is in early talks to play the title role in Gore Verbinski’s The Lone Ranger. Hammer would star opposite Johnny Depp, who will play his sidekick, Tonto.
