Lionsgate has cast Paula Malcomson in the role of Katniss and Prim’s mother in Gary Ross’ big screen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel The Hunger Games. The roles of Katniss and Prim have already been cast, with Jennifer Lawrence playing Katniss and Willow Shields Prim.
The Hunger Games is scheduled to hit theaters on March 23, 2012.
