Paramount Pictures continues to have issues nailing down the script for the Chris Pine-starring Jack Ryan reboot Moscow, which has resulted in the studio opting to push production of the “Jack Ryan” reboot to after Star Trek (2012), Deadline is reporting.
According to the report, Steve Zaillian, who was hired last month to rewrite the script, pulled out within the last two weeks. That has forced Paramount to begin interviewing other writers.
Deadline also confirms that J.J. Abrams has not decided whether he’ll return to direct Star Trek sequel.
