Deadline is reporting that Ed Harris has been cast to play John McCain in the upcoming HBO Films’ movie Game Change, based on the bestselling novel by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. Harris will star opposite Julianne Moore who was previously cast to play former Alaska Gov. / Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
Jay Roach is directing from a script by Danny Strong. Tom Hanks is producing.
